Depending on the specific service provided, The Will may act as:

Data Processor on behalf of the Professional Client; or
Data Controller for limited operational data necessary to provide and secure the platform.

This application is provided by your notary under its own brand and is powered by The Will technology platform.

This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is processed when you use the Digital Legacy Vault.

2. Who Is Responsible?

Your notary is generally the Data Controller for the personal information you choose to store and manage within your Digital Legacy Vault.

The Will provides the secure technology infrastructure and generally acts as a Data Processor on behalf of your notary.

3. What Information Can You Store?

You decide what information to upload.

Examples include:

  • wills and codicils;

  • property deeds;

  • marriage or partnership agreements;

  • birth certificates;

  • passports and identity documents;

  • insurance policies;

  • pension documents;

  • mortgage information;

  • bank account information;

  • medical directives;

  • funeral wishes;
